Jump The River
You can do this one on your own or with your friends.

How to play:
1. Lay a jump rope down on the floor. You can also draw a line with chalk or just use a crack in the sidewalk!
2. Pretend the line is the river.
3. Can you jump from one side of the river to the other?
4. When you are ready, draw another line to make the river wider. How wide a river can you jump?

On The Farm
You need your friends to play this one.

How to play:
1. Draw and cut out fruits and vegetables that are grown on a farm. How many can you think of?
2. Have a friend pick one of your vegetables or fruits. What kind of animal eats that food? Can you act out that animal?
For example, if your friend drew carrots, can you hop like a bunny?
If your friend drew apples, can you gallop like a horse?

Follow The Farmer
You need your friends to play this one.

How to play:
1. Pick one friend to be the "farmer."
2. Have the farmer act out something a farmer would do on his or her farm.
Scattering Seeds
Digging with a shovel
Milking a cow
Picking fruit from a tree
Watering plants or flowers
3. Imitate your friends...can you guess what they are trying to do?
4. Switch farmers. What new things can you act out?

Apple Apple Banana
You need your friends to play this one.

How to play:
1. Have your friends sit in a circle. Make sure you have enough room to run around the outside of the circle.
2. Choose one person to be the apple.
3. The "apple" walks around the outside of the circle. As they pass each person, they tap the top of their head and say "apple." The "apple" has to eventually choose one person to be the "banana."
4. When someone is chosen as the "banana" the "apple" runs away while the "banana" has to chase them around the circle. The "apple" has to make it back to the banana's seat before the banana tags them.
5. If they are tagged, then they must sit in the middle of the circle until someone else is caught.

Fruit & Vegetable Tag
You need your friends to play this one.

How to play:
1. Choose one person to be "it."
2. The person who is "it" tries to tag everyone else.
3. To avoid being "it," the other players can kneel down on one knee and say a fruit or vegetable before they are tagged.
4. If someone can't think of a fruit or vegetable & they get tagged then they are now "it."
